This is what drove Rasputin to a lust for vengeance and to placing a powerful curse on the Romanovs, which remained unfulfilled due to the survival of the last Romanov family member, the Tsar's daughter Grand Duchess Anastasia, and he spends his time in the film plotting ways in order to kill her to successfully fulfill his curse, only to be thwarted in the end and dragged to Hell. Psychonauts: Boyd's Ramblings. Rasputin, a planned upcoming. The main character in the PS2/Xbox game Psychonauts is called Razputin (better known as 'Raz').He wears a brown robe (however, in the books it has a gold interior) with black shoes, (Which appear to be high heeled). He wears some sort of purple clothing beneath his robe, but the only part of this that is shown is the sleeves. His robe trails along the ground. He has black hair that is tied back into a ponytail and has a black moustache that connects to his long black beard going below his waist. His skin is a rotting, pale green and he has skeletally long fingers and fingernails. He has a hood that hangs off of the back of the neck of the robe. Around his waist is a gold rope sash with three beads. The rope is tied around his reliquary which hang at his shins. His sleeves go as long as his waist. Another noticable feature is that he appears to be wearing nothing under his robe yet he has a strange purple clothing at the neck and sleeves. Being undead for almost twenty, years his body is now rotten and unstable; it follows that on numerous occasions Rasputin loses one or more pieces of his body. He's the type of man who is capable of giving everything to fulfill their promises, bequeathing to the point of selling his soul to the devil just to have the power to destroy the Romanov Family . Also, he is seen to be somewhat obsessive and impulsive with his objectives when these are not achieved, such as the case of Anastasia. He's a man of rude nature, due that he constantly hits his assistant, Bartok. Rasputin also has to walk the line between being truly a villain yet play a part in a lot of the comedy of the film. His banishment fueled Rasputin's intense hatred towards the Romanov family, and has drove him to plotting his evil plan on doing away with them once and for all. Eager for revenge, Rasputin plans on destroying the Russian royalty. Psychonauts (2005) is an action. Grigori Rasputin was an adviser to the Russian. This affect is done by having his voice actor record a ton of funny dialogue. He sold his soul to the otherworldy forces of darkness in exchange for his amulet and for the power to destroy the czar and his family, in the process becoming a lich (a type of undead creature with magical powers). He then returns to the Catherine Palace with his faithful yet bumbling minion and assistant, Bartok, and albino bat, where a grand and elegant ball celebrating the 3. Romanov's family rule was currently taking place. He interrupts the festivities and silences all the guests into fear with his menacing presence as he walks in bearing an evil smile, descending his dark shadow upon the house of the Romanov family. Tsar Nicholas ll bellows at Rasputin that he was never invited, but the latter, feigning innocence, nonchalantly replies that he is the czar's confidant, to which the czar scoffs and declares Rasputin a traitor to the Romanov family and orders him to leave. Incensed and enraged, Rasputin then warns the czar that he will pay for his actions and swears vengeance on his family, and inflicts on the czar's family the deadly and powerful Romanov curse, warning the czar that he and his family will die within the fortnight, and that he will not rest until he sees the end of the Romanov forever, and in the process he uses his reliquary to shoot a beam of green light towards the massive chandelier in the ballroom, sending it crashing down and nearly destroying guests in the process, arousing everyone's fear and creating terror. Consumed by his hatred for Tsar Nicholas ll and his family, Rasputin soon sold his soul to the dark forces of hell and possibly Satan himself to obtain the unholy powers necessary to destroy them. He sends his flying demonic minions after them, ordering them to . All of the Romanov royals are killed by Rasputin's minions and the Russian soldiers, except for the czar's mother, the Dowager Empress Marie Feodorovna, and his eight- year- old daughter, the Grand Duchess Anastasia. In the midst of the tragic event, Rasputin eventually attempts to murder Anastasia himself while after seeing her escape the siege in the Catherine Palace with her grandmother. Leaping off a bridge onto the frozen river where the two royals were fleeing in fear together, he confonts her by grasping ahold of the young frightened and helpless Grand Duchess' foot, who screamed in fear, violently thrashing her about whilst tightening his grip on her ankle, chuckling malevolently and vowing that the little girl shall never escape his wrath. However, he fails to hold on when the ice suddenly breaks, and Anastasia manages to get her ankle free from the evil sorcerer's grasp as Rasputin falls and drowns into the icy, freezing water depths below, losing his amulet in the process while desperately calling for his albino bat sidekick, Bartok, who fails to save his beloved master. Rasputin sinks underneath, yet he is unable to die and repay the dark forces and possibly Satan himself until he successfully completes his curse. Driven more by his evil and powerful desire for revenge, he wishes to finish off what he started before he rests in peace by killing Anastasia . Putting his demonic minions to work on finding and destroying her but failing, he is accompanied throughout the film by the reluctant Bartok, who constantly tries to sway Rasputin away from his obsession with killing Anastasia and completing his curse, but is largely ignored until Bartok eventually gives up being his minion and helping him in his plans due to being completely fed up with Rasputin's bad temper, constant rage, insanity, and his rudeness and abuse towards him. Bartok betrays Rasputin and becomes an entertainer in the cities of Moscow. Meanwhile, Rasputin confronts Anastasia on the Pont Alexandre III, and in the resulting final battle, he loses hold of his amulet and Anastasia shatters it underfoot, which in turn destroys the magic keeping Rasputin alive. As Rasputin dies, his entire body is completely disintegrated and reduced to dust while his soul is dragged away to Hell forever. However this myth is as much fiction as the scene it inspired, as Grigori Rasputin in fact never ingested any of the cyanide and was simply killed by three gunshot wounds, the first two of which were not instantly fatal ones. He was likely already dead by the time the third shot was fired. By the time his body was disposed of in the river, he'd been dead for several hours. The production team of the film were well aware of this, but did not want to involve politics in a children's animated film. It was also believed in real life, that he had a part in causing the downfall of the Tsar, though not in the malicious way that was portrayed in the film. Almost like their is a disco light illuminating the place.
